Full description

More than ever learning how to calm the busy mind and allow the body to relax and rest feels so necessary.

Join Julie and Emma, experienced yoga and mindfulness teachers for this 3 day weekend retreat and bring some balance back to your life. Creating the ground for you to make different choices that support your health and well being.

Julie is a yoga, meditation teacher and biodynamic cranio sacral practitioner, with over 12 years of experience teaching one to one, small groups and retreats in UK, Spain and Europe. She invites you to a weekend of yoga, breath, meditation and deep relaxation practices to reconnect you to a natural, simple and nourishing way of being in the body.

Julie offers a yoga practice for all bodies inspired by Vanda Scaravelli. A practice where we will connect to a deep listening and allowing of body, cultivate presence and discover freedom, health and strength of movement from an unraveling and awakening of the spine. Sprinkled with her background in teaching deep rest meditation practice. All bodies are welcome, for those with or without previous experience of yoga.

Emma is an accredited Mindfulness teacher (MBSR- Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction). She has worked with hundreds of people teaching practical tools that promote calm and perspective. During the retreat we will practice a variety of meditations as well as looking at how mindfulness can help us in our daily lives. We’ll look at what stress is and how it affects us- and what we can do to help ourselves.

From dealing with the anxious and over thinking mind to insomnia, body tension and feelings of fear for the future. The mindfulness sessions offer practical tools for real change. No previous experience of meditation necessary.

In the free times in between sessions you are encouraged to take time for yourself, to not plan excursions out i.e to the shops or busy places.

We encourage you to really consider this a 3 day retreat even though its online so you don't get busy with work, social media, phones or other activiites. So preferably going for walks in nature, journaling, resting, creative interests, and performing simple tasks in the home with qualities of mindfulness, for example preparing and eating your food.

- * For one mindful session you will need a small packet of raisins - please have this ready at the beginning of the weekend
